Commercial Project: Repurposed Building Provides New Parish Council Offices
Willingdon & Jevington Parish Council has transformed a former block of public conveniences at The Triangle in Willingdon.

- Colbran & Wingrove were awarded the project to develop the building which now provides an office, meeting room, small refreshments/prep area and WC.
- The addition of a small extension at the rear of the building has created a new WC for public use and a parking space has been incorporated next to the offices.
- Led by local architect Peter Shoesmith, the scheme retained much of the footprint and look of the original building with a brick exterior and tile-hung roof. However, along with the reconfigured internal space it now benefits from contemporary new Anthracite grey aluminium windows and doors and features Solar PV panels.
- The installation of Solar PV will allow the Parish Council to feed back into the grid creating potential to meet its own electricity requirements and gain income from any surplus.
- Willingdon & Jevington Parish Council plan to move into the premises by 1st October.
