Pops of Personality

Colour, style and flair combine in this beautiful Lewes home which has been renovated from top to toe by our team.

Honey Pitt House is an early 1900s property just north of Lewes. With countryside views, oak beams, charm and character, it promised potential. And its new owners seized on the opportunity to create a very individual home.

The homeowners worked with interior designer, Katie Elizabeth, to create an interior that pops with personality.

Colbran & Wingrove were appointed to manage all the works. Structurally, we strengthened and levelled floors, renewed lintels and removed an interior wall to improve layout. We installed new steelwork prior to raising the height of the fireplace in the utility room and managed specialist trades where required.

The project scope also included the removal of old ceilings and replacement of new. Original plumbing, heating and electrics were stripped out, walls were plastered, windows were re-glazed and repaired, and we carried out structural work to the gables and extended the rear patio.

Now ready to be transformed, our team laid new flooring and decorated throughout adding colour and pattern through paint and wallpaper, plus tiles and texture according to the clients’ specifications.

Bespoke cabinetry also plays a starring role. An otherwise awkward hallway now has floor to ceiling shoe storage. Wardrobes have been built-in and awkwardly shaped alcoves now feature custom-made shelving.

With bursts of colour throughout, Honey Pitt House is now a warm and joyous family home. One that perfectly showcases the breadth of skill and experience across our team.
